Not a good deal my friend. I work on computers for a living.

This is a Dell/Walmart trap.

The processor is yesterday's news. It rates 2 stars on the dual core scale.

Quad core is now the minimum standard.

You will be very disappointed for sure.

Intel now has the I3, I5, I7 processor line. They dropped the excess dual cores like these in your machine to pennies on a dollar.

Dell sucked them up, shined 'em up and is selling them. The screen's not bad, battery and keyboard is OK, that's what your paying for.

Check your system performance score:

It will be less than 3 which means it will run video horribly, all packed into a cheap plastic case.

It will crack or break on you with normal wear and tear. Get a Sony Vaio with a titanium case.

Software - Not what you think and again, I do this for a living 16 hrs a day.

You are getting the full student version of Office which is a stripped down version or the suite.

It has Word, Excel and One Note, big deal.

You won't use One Note but will be ticked you only have half a package.

It lacks MS Outlook, Access, Publisher.

So you get Win 7 disk, it's good for one machine so, you won't be installing in on anything else, it will crap out unless you pay for another license.

Take it to the bank. You are getting a left over turd, polished up with a Win 7 disk. Don't expect decent video. Again, I would tell a friend to send it back.

If you don't want to order online, go to Best Buy and get a Intel processor with a minimum of I3. Preferably I5 and be much happier for the same or less money.

I would give this advice to a friend or relative and cancel it, send it back.

If you use it a lot or expect speed and good video, it's physically impossible.

All the little crappy extras will fall apart or not work, go to TigerDirect or NewEgg and buy something you will be happy with.

It will quit working after certain amount of days if installed on more than one machine unless you hack it.

Consider this deal, you will get far more for less money. Faster board, processor and memory. Pre installed Win 7.
