i don't know how i missed it too.. toronto is hilarious.. when i go there, i swear, ask my friends, i am laughing. .there are more indians in toronto than there are in all of India. eveywhere i go, all i see are sikhs and red dots and robes.. i once went to etobicoke and mississauga and i swear to god, i saw things that i could not beleive. i saw things like bus drivers in turbans..lol..and then subway drivers were all wearing turbans. living in montreal, i have NEVER seen a bus or metro driver wear a turban.. NEVER.. and when i went to the airport, here we have all frenchies and some english working at customs, or as janitors.. when i got off plane, the whole airport were employed by indians in turbans and women in red dots on the forehead. even the cops were indian..lol.. wow, what an adventure that was. it's like going to asia..

people think mtl is french, but if you live where i live, only in an english neighborhood, you NEVER ever encounter them all your life. i live 5 miles from downtown in an english neighborhood.there ain't 1 frenchman within 7 miles of me. i never need to see these guys. i have everything here within 5 miles of me. 24 malls, 492 diff restaurants, 23 mcd's.. just everything. it's like i live in western canada here, or the usa. to me, mtl is not french, it's english. since the age of 1 i have been here and i never ever see the frenchies. so toronto is no diff than mtl. all english if you live where i live........ no frenchies.. and most important.... no indians at all.. you might see 1 per day when you leave your house.. and that is being generous..

The Indians and middle eastern immigrants are quite visible where I live, this used to be a predominately Italian/Greek/Anglo community but most have moved on to the 905 area north of the city.

The truth is there are cultural differences in races that prevent them from interacting fully, thus since they only interact amongst themselves they further ingrain their own culture and develop animosity adopting the practices of other cultures right or wrong, for example its practically criminal/insane for a black to act like a nerd and dedicate himself to becoming an intelligent professional while whites applaud that behavior (really think about it have you ever heard of the ghetto producing anything good other than pro athletes even though they attend the same public schools as the whites do), now do you think Detroit/Atlanta/Memphis etc would be better without the black culture or worse, do you think the southern US would be better without the Mexican invasion or worse, me personally I think it would be better

I believe this to be a legitimate concern.

Canada is tolerant of foreigners immigrating here and retaining their foreign values/culture until the day they become the majority and decide they want this country to be more like "home".

Never seen sharpness like in this thread, you guys are right on the money today, a country or any geographic region for that matter IS its majority culture, once they takeover and you are a minority the country will be redefined, no one defines the country by its minorities or past majorities it wouldnt make any sense, you dont define the US by native american culture do you?
