Tracking Bets? Here's a sample Excel sheet
So... how does everyone track their bets?

Attached is an Excel sheet I created and have tinkered with in the past month. It's got just a couple made up bets as samples to show how a W/L/Push would be tracked.

    Basically two tabs:
Bets - input your picks/odds/result (columns A to I take inputs) and the rest automatically calculates
Stats - pretty much all automatic. You'd just need to expand the types of sports you bet on in column F -- keeping in mind the note about there being array formulas.

The one problem I have is how to note parlays. It's easy enough to note a Parlay bet on the tabs (perhaps "Parlay NFL" or "Parlay Mixed" for multiple sports in one bet) and I guess just leave the odds blank....

Anyway, happy to answer any questions on the sheet or to see what other people use! Or.. let me know if I've screwed something up!

Hey, Godot, thanks for posting that. Actually I was just thinking of starting to track my bets. What do the rest of you guys think, do you like this spreadsheet? Do you prefer SBR's? Do you use another one? I want to start keeping track as well, so would love to hear everyone's recommendations!

What's in the zip file jjgold post is a lot more comprehensive than mine! I thought I was getting a bit fancy, but clearly not! I didn't even know that SBR had its own sheet.

I'm really hoping we get some more replies, would love to see some other "home made" sheets!
