This entire argument is dumb. If Walker played another year nobody would even be sniffing the record. Walker got fed the ball because he was their best player just like Tebow is getting fed the ball. Tebow gets fed repetitively inside the 10 because he's money. He's leading the team in carries by a mile and has carried the ball almost 20 times a game the last 2 years. He had around 90-100 carries and 3 times as many carries as passes as a freshman when he "didn't play". He's an option Qb in a spead offense.

He's a solid player and the record is what it is. Both are great players in their own eras. I don't expect Georgia to hang around in this one, but they do have some talented players and have nothing to lose. Any time you are playing against that, you are playing against a dangerous team.

All the talk about Richt needs to stop. GA has 2 SEC championships and were a hair away from playing in 3 national championships (of which 1 would have been a walk in the park obliteration of Ohio St in 2002) under Richt. Look at Georgia's record in the 2000's, it is unparalleled, not even Florida has as many wins the past 10 years. In fact, Georgia has more wins the past 10 years than Florida and LSU.

Georgia has averaged 10 wins a year under Mark Richt.

The problem with LSU is that before the new Millennium they have no history at all in the modern era. Other than a couple of good years, they were a perennial door mat. Which is dumbfounding because LSU has no other big school in the state to compete with to get recruits. Georgia has TRADITION AND HISTORY despite competing with Georgia Tech and Auburn every year for recruits.

Georgia will continue locking in the borders and keeping in state star players at Georgia long after LSU is no longer "the flavor of the decade".

Georgia beat LSU this year and the refs blew a call that led to the LSU win. Georgia would have won that game if not for that blown call.
