Only the casino part I think, sportsbook etc remains open. Which is an interesting position.. I suspect its likely a decision handed down by their casino software provider (Wagerworks?) who also supply Virgin etc

Why are books locking out Canada???

Has Canada done anything to any bookie anywhere?

Does Canadian banking go through the states in some way?

This is all a prelude to the looming takedown of Bodog. The Yanks and the Canadians have been working on this since the day after Ayre appeared on the cover of Forbes. The signs are all there. NetTeller shutting down to Canadians. Ayre not being grabbed when he should have been months ago. The story about other payment processors getting immunity. It's a paper trail, folks, and it all leads back to online gambling's biggest jackass, Calvin Ayre, { no, not Russ from Major Wager} appearing on the cover of Forbes. Although it turns out Ayre and the Major are in bed together. Wanna see the correspondence? I have it. Anybody remember when the Major used to constantly scorn Bodog. Or "Big Book" back then. I used to think it was because this Major recognized Ayre for what he was, a fraudster. It turns out Ayre owed the Major 4 or 5 grand. As soon as that got paid, Bodog was the greatest. Can you say "watchdog integrity? Well, the Major can say it, but he doesn't know what it means. It reminds me of the old joke about the aging whore. "Well, we both know what I am, we're just dickering about the price" Cal!

There is a lot more to this story. I believe a recent CTV News story linking the Mohawks of Kahnawake to terrorism will form part of the upcoming Bodog arrests. For those of you not familiar with the Harper govt. in Canada, our prime minister is not a big fan of different laws for different folks. It is a widely held belief here in Canada that the Mohawks have been flaunting the law for too long, and the arrest of Calvin Ayre, the number one client of the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, will be the first salvo by the Harper govt. to restore the "one law for all" belief of the majority of Canadians. And the second salvo will be that Russ Hawkins, that Twinkie eating, I'm a tough guy because I get my paid {sometimes as young as fifteen" mods to say so} arsre licker of Calvin Ayre, is indeed a disgrace to all things that Canadians hold dear. Because he is a whore, a common, *** in my mouth for an extra five bucks low track whore. And he's from Toronto. He was the inspiration for the song "You're a three dressed up a a nine". And I heard he is a RAT. How do you like that, Major. See how easy it is to label someone a Rat?
