Pavy what happened between you and Pags. Some of the old threads looked like you were offering advice and a potential member of the flock and then I come back this season and Pags really didn't seem to like you much. What went wrong?

Obviously you don't understand mocking him. I think when that thread happened and everyone was bashing him (even JJ was banned for 24 hrs in that thread) I was trying to be his sympathizer so he wouldn't leave but after 3 years of looking at his square picks I thought it was time for him to leave us and I turned the forum against him. I'm that good!

Pags is slightly above average in his career.
this year below average.
I pick games by who has the best looking jerseys and my record is better than his this year. takes all of 3 minutes for me to cap jerseys. unless of course some teams throw me off with blackouts and such

I tried the jersey thing - but Oregon drove me crazy - my jersey-analysis-model couldn't handle them.
And in the NFL, the throwback mania -- I had to dump that system also.

Pags only does NCAAF. He doesn't think there is any other sport worth capping.

this may seem picky , but one of the things that turned some against him was the perceived exaggeration of his lines, odds , and unit results. ( notice I said "one of the things" )
It's really 4.2 - 3, not 5-3, for the week because the N Car pick was for 0.5 units and all the others were for 5 times that much. But he did win this week. Mex's calc above is correct -- +2.25 units.

His record is 32-34 for the year. Anyone who calls himself the best of the best and still can't hit .500 needs to quit. If you played his 4-3 plays $10 a game you will be up $6 now. Enjoy your cheeseburger with supersize fries and pop.

No question pavy, I agree with you. But if you gonna take shot's at someone, like hoopster did, be readyfor the comeback. He did have comments about all 8 games and was wrong on most.

I read about everone's winners last sunday, with the favs going 8-2-1 not including cincy who open up as a 1pt fav and closed as a 2pt dog. Every Chalk player was pounding their chest.

I just find it at least a little interesting that Pags put out 8 dogs 5 covered 4 SU, and hoopster hated all but one and the one he agreed with lost BIG TIME.

Your overall point is right on the money, just as Hoopster capping is not.

i did not say to fade him, did i? i took tenn, cu, and fla from this mix, so i went 2-1. 66.7% better than the 4-3 on today's 2.5 unit plays on this list, i reckon. and next time you wana talk about picks, why dont you come in BEFORE the gms are played and give us your thoughts? i'll go toe to toe w/you in college foots any day buddy
