Wish me luck, boys and girls! Gonna be playing with my 1k in sports winnings, so hope to parlay that into more, as opposed to the sad opposite of blowing that in a couple of hours and then dipping into the checking.

It stinks that Mohegan has only six- and eight-deck shoes for blackjack. I can count through a couple of decks, but my brain is definitely not wired for six or eight!

Play "revolver" slots there...it's a longterm win with proper strategy and the use of the slot card.

What are "revolver" slots?

Good luck and Happy Birthday. I was in Vegas over the weekend for my B-day and there was a drunk Texan sitting next to me. I caught the tail end of his drunken streak (10:00 in the morning). Purple chips, splitting tens ... you get the idea. The F*&^D up part... Cashed out for $9,375 from a $500 buy in. Who needs basic strategy. Just get trashed and play like that and maybe you too can get to $10k.

not sure how you can count cards and play blackjack with only 1k bankroll?
minimums at night are probably $10/hand right?
so if you get to +15 on the count you can bet $150/hand but that's only a 6-hand bankroll???

i would advise at least a bankroll of 40 big bets per session, who knows when the count is going to be ridiculously good and you don't want to be unable to take advantage. if you can find $5 tables then you would be close to ok, but those are hard to find in the evenings around here (milwaukee/chicago).

also i'm not sure how you can count through a couple of decks but not 6 or 8?? it's a running count and it shouldn't matter if there are 2 decks or 2000 there's the same amount of cards on the table to count.
