Withdrawal by FEDEX CHECK At Pinnacle
I asked for a withdrawal by check at Pinnacle. Here is the email I got from them:

    Dear Pinnacle Sports Client,

Your withdrawal request has been processed and forwarded to our Accounting Department.

Unfortunately, due to the large volume of transactions processed for our thousands of exiting US clients, check requests are delayed longer than originally anticipated. Please be advised it may be as long as five weeks before your check is sent.

We will forward your Federal Express tracking number via email when available.

If you have questions once your check is sent, please contact Federal Express directly at www.fedex.com.

    Regards,

    Customer Service Department

This doesn't exactly make me feel all warm and fuzzy given that pinnacle is the only place I play. Isn't that "large volume of US customers" far enough in the rearview yet.

I haven't bothered for a refund in a long while but five weeks is pretty outrageous sounding to me for pinnacle.

maybe someone from SBR could give an adequate and well researched answer to why they are still taking this long to payout. I know i'd really really love to know

If a "D" or "C" Rated book sent out an email like this. The shit would hit the fan.

even though it took them 3 months to track down a miss bank wire, i still think they're the best sportsbook in the world. best lines and high limits, can't beat that

Five weeks is ridiculous. They dumped U.S. clients a while ago. They need to stop using that as an excuse. Yeah, I know it's Pinnacle, but that is absolute s**tty service. Five weeks before the check is sent is unacceptable. Man, this industry is nuts if they think customers are going to tolerate this for long. Processor issue this and processor issue that. Enough with the damn excuses already.

How about making an ATM card for withdrawals being mandatory for all books? No more waiting weeks for checks to arrive or to clear. No more bounced checks.

Actually, you can beat that. They can remember that we are customers that underpin their business success and treat us as such by paying quickly and securely without offloading anxiety and problems onto the customer. When a business loses sight of that, it opens the door very wide for a better competitor to drive you out of business, leaving you to ponder around a boardroom table as to why you are in a fiscal business spiral.

It is infinitely less expensive to keep an existing customer happy than to attract new or lost ones.

that is why i am sticking only to pinnaclesports. now if you want to see examples of sportsbooks that are going into a shitstorm, read the thread about sportsbook.com delays...it is the longest thread in player talk.

the thing is that you guys are not their priority anymore

pinnacle's #1 concern is to keep their existing customers happy. since they can't accept wagers from US customers, there is no point putting you guys in front of the line. this is a cut throat business, they'll service you once they have some free time after keeping their europe and asia customers happy. i guess you just have to wait...no point complaining...especially there is no phone number for customer service...if you annoy them, then they'll just put a lower priority on your emails.

don't worry, pinnacle is the #1 sportsbook online, they won't screw you. go read the thread about sportsbook.com, then you'll realize how much better you guys got here. sportsbook.com is pretty much screwing over all its cusotmer base.

I am not A US Player, so this theory does not apply here. Secondly, I am not exactly worried that I will not get paid. Although, I do think 5 Weeks is a bit out of line. I will let you guys know if and when I do get paid.

That being the case, it very much means Pinnacle is using a blatant lie (thousands of still remaining US customers to pay).

This is an early warning system of something.........just wish i knew for sure of what.

                                    ****UPDATE****
I have been out of town , so I could not confirm if the check had arrived.

Actually , just found out that it arrived on April 12th.

Requested it on April 09th and received it on April 12th. I would say that is PRETTY GOOD.

Congrats Pinnacle. You really are the best!!!
