Horrible call by Gruden, just like Vermeil last week, but both got away with it.

There was a penalty that pushed the ball up a yard, but yes onlooker that was the case.

Came down to 2 things with both coaches:

1. The ball was on the goal line.

2. They both have running backs (Larry Johnson, Mike Alstott) who can run over guys to get that yard.

Either way, you still have to have balls the size of grapefruits to take an uncalculated risk like that instead of taking the safe play.
