David Letterman’s CBS “Late Show” whipped NBC’s “Tonight” show with Conan O’Brien in the ratings last week by nearly 800,000 viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research. Letterman generally lost to “Tonight” when Jay Leno was the host, and he hasn’t had this big a victory margin since returning from heart surgery in 2000.

paver, i always watch late night tv.. it comes before sports. paver, i've always said this here.. watching sports is boring. i hate it, no joke. i prefer a good stand up on the comedy channel or a talk show than a boring game. i do flip back and forth after every joke and i have cbs sportsline always in front of me. it's all i need.Originally posted by pavyracer

Leno seems as if he just going through the motions on his new show. They won't pull his show until the ratings are so rock bottom is starts to affect advertising revenue. His show is much cheaper to make than producing 4 or 5 new dramas.Comment -
