McCarver is horrendous. He calls a game like your watching baseball for the first time, and it really gets annoying. "The purpose of the sacrafice bunt is to give yourself up and advance the runner" or "a changeup is effective because the pitcher uses the same arm action, but grips the ball differently to trick the hitter". Seems like we get about 20 of these baseball lessons every game, and I'm tired of it.

One can only assume that had there not been a bash that weekend, a lot of us wouldn't have been there. Lou and Sam ended up doing some of the 'dirty work' that weekend and were not even able to mingle and act silly like the rest of us. While Lou might not be into public speaking or being the center of attention at times, casting his as some wallflower is incorrect.
