Can't stand when Coaches don't make it easier on their kickers for what is already a very tough position regardless of length, especially when you are moving the ball and ESPECIALLY IN COLLEGE.

Read up on some stats, Coaches - A 45 yard field goal is not a gimme..Not in the NFL, not in College. ..And the percentages prob only go down in the last minute of a game It is your job to know this and not just shrug your shoulders afterward and subtly or not so subtly blame it on the kicker

It is so damn presumptuous. ...And I feel fully satisfied griping about this because my disdain for this type of coaching is not an any way gambling related...for once.

BTW - what happened today when the kicker had already had plenty of trouble is obviously worse than normal...unforgivable really.

He (Kiffin) said that his kicker is still recovering from a quad injury and can't get a lot of height on the ball. But boy am I glad he didn't. Toooooooo close for comfort.

Great point. To put the game in the hands, or in this case on the foot of a college kid is asking too much. Especially a 45-yard attempt which as you point out is less than a gimme.

It was sad. I was pumped when they got to the 30. Figured they would throw twice for medium yardage to get it down to 38 yard FG try or less then run to get the clock down. Instead, they wasted time on nothing plays. Sickening...
