Random college musings at the sunset of another gameday
Might be time to warm-up the Big Red Machine versus We Are Family of the 70s on classic because Pitt is good and Cincy is still rolling. Charlie Hustle taking on Pops has nothing on Wanny versus B. Kelly.

Georgia Tech opened the second half with an 18 play, 11 minute drive. Predictably Virginia never recovered.

Game ball to Muthesaleh-esque Bill Snyder who came off the porch rocking chair to a Wildcat football program in total disarray. After a turtle-like start, Snyder unbelievable has K-State in first place in the Big 12 junior division. That's coaching folks!

Oregon may be the best team in the nation right now. While every contender has struggled, the Ducks are steamrolling their two-handed touch Pac-10 opponents. The Quack Attack has come a long ways from the LeGarrette Blount salad days of, oh, a month and a half ago.

Bye-bye Canes, your trip to national relevancy was shortlived. Props to conference mate Duke who won back to back conference tilts since before Laettner was heterosexual.

Bad News for Irish fans, Notre Dame wins. This means the Weis watch countdown is on hold and the Brian Kelly crawl through glass to South Bend has been postponed. Nothing says Halloween like Notre Dame and Wazzou in San Antonio though, does it?

TCU, you are #3. May as well just plop them there and stay there. I stand a better chance of sniffing Megan Fox's panties than the Horned Frogs do of sniffing a title game.

When did Tim Tebow turn into Chad Pennington. My God, he looked awful.

A funny thing happened on the way to the Heisman ceremony, Mark Ingram dropped it. Luckily for him, and chubby chasers nationwide watching his celebration, Mount Cody caught Ingram's Heisman hopes before they fell to the floor.

Iowa is winning ugly. Iowa is still winning. They give style points in diving and gymnastics, they shouldn't in the polls. That win over Arizona looks more impressive every day as well.

The Boise-Chaminade game should be tipping off soon. No Ralph Sampson sightings in the stadium.

Obscure Final Score: Austin 31, Rhodes 21. I guess the Stone Cold Stunner was too much for the American Dream.

    Adios, the moment has passed.
