i actually took the Halos also, even though the Yanks have destroyed some left hand pitching this season at times. Saunders pitched well last time out against them and Petitte's overall record isn't that impressive against the Halos. Yanks still win series i think, but it's going the distance.

Since the game will be delayed 1 day most likely that works out better for new york. They just need pettitte to pitch 4 innings. Saunders will get hit hard as after that 0-28 risp slump the yanks are starting to get key hits. Angels barely won and I believe yanks will beat them rather comfotably. Good luck John.

TV has all the say bad weather or not. The rain is not coming down that hard now. If it stays that way, then they will try and get it in. TV doesn't want to compete with MNF.

Agreed. But it's about the television revenue, not what the public perception of the game is. You ever wonder why the NBA starts their season between the Playoffs and Series every year? This doesn't happen by accident. Same reason why the NFL moved to the Thursday after labor Day a few years ago. It's all about when people are watching and this trickles down to when they can wager after.

They are scheduled to compete against Sunday Night Football for Game 7 right now if there is no rainout, and SNF gets better ratings than MNF.
