Guy is one of the greatest coaches ever to coach. He is genuine as well no matter what the situation is. They don't make many like him anymore.

I was just commenting on Paterno's record in my previous post ... if that "you must be very special (and goofy icon)" is meant as some sort of criticism/attack on me then grow up ... if I got the wrong impression about these comments I'm sorry but they don't seem to be meant in a nice manner ... I'm not here to fight anyone else's battles ... but will give you the same respect I would like to receive as long as I'm shown some in return

G ... that's why I came into this thread to read about Bowden ... Saw Mike's question and Logan's answer and was trying to say I agree with Logan on his answer .... if Paterno was not supposed to be discussed in YOUR thread about Bowden (and I can understand that) I'm sorry I didn't know it wasn't ok to mention another coach you'll have to cut me some slack on what's "rude" like that, I am new here ... but then came straightshooter's and 20four7's comments which I felt were disrespectful or intended meanly and if someone does that to me for no reason I will respond period no matter where they do it (let me state I have no problem with these guys, never heard of them till they responded to my post) ... sorry for mentioning Paterno in your thread but can't apologize for responding to the two comments I received

I'm not trying to argue with anyone just didn't appreciate post 17 and 18 and then it seemed as if you got annoyed I responded to them with your post 21 and I was trying to explain myself in post 22 ... either way I'm moving on from it ... thanks for the summary of facts on Bowden up top I enjoyed reading over those
