Here's another thought, though I seriously doubt it was running through Scioscia's mind, at least wasn't a driving force. With the weather forecast out there for Game 6, there is a decent chance that Game 6 is not played until Sunday with Game 7 on Monday. At the 100-pitch mark like Lackey was last night when he came out, it's entirely possible now for Scioscia to bring Lackey back on short rest Monday if that scenario unfolds.Comment -
