its actually only like 6 and a half beers, so its not bad at all. Youll probably be buzzed shouldnt really be drunk. My biggest problem was i always got too full like halfway through so thats pretty annoying.

IDK if I will be able to make it....6.5 beers will be very hard for me. 5 beers is me Tipsy and 7-8 beers is drunk and that's over 2 hours...so doing same amount in less time will get me fukked up

Me and my roommates tomorrow are going to do a power hour.

For those you don't know what that is.....every minute you take a shot of beer. You listen to music and have a playlist of songs each lasting 1 minute long. Once the song changes, you take a shot of beer. So, obv. in 60 minutes, 60 songs will be played for 1 minute a piece and each new song you take a shot.

It turns out to be about 6 and 1/2 beers in that hour which is a lot. Sounds easy, but IS NOT AT ALL.

So tomorrow, we are trying to trying the POWER HOUR before our mixer. I'll let you know Saturday how it turns out.

Sammy, i've played power hour before.. Can be lots of fun.. Never done it before a mixer or on a night i was planning on meeting up with girls though.. Why would you wanna be hammered if you're gonna try to hook up?. Bad idea in my opinion.. Not trying to knock you Sammy, it would just make more sence to have a nice buzz so you're not sloppy or annoying.. Let the other guys get fukked up and you'll seem even more appealing to the women.. When the other guys are slurring, being loud, and staggering around, you'll still be smooth enough to pull the ladies.. Save power hour for a night without the chics, or for a night they'll be playing with you at least.. Have a great time bro..

The music part sounds annoying though. The song changes every minute? I would find some other way to alert you each minute and just let the tunes play. I don't like interruptions to my tunes.

Power Hours is really big at University of Michigan. .so i def completed a bunch in my day.. girls get really into it and make their own mixes for it too.. Me and my two roommates also went to Michigan and so did my roommate's girl.. she made us a personal power cd the other day with songs as shot outs to certain people she knew would be playing that day... thats always a lot of fun.. getting drunk and trying to guess what song goes with the person....

At 27 i was still able to complete a power hour.. very proud of that..

Where did the 12 come from? You suck at alcohol if a shot for you means 1 oz. Real shots are 1.5 oz.

we mix in some slower pace songs w/ faster pace..oldies and new stuff...gonna be a fun time and we are going to try and video tape it

Power hour is the way to go with pre-gaming. If you haven't set up a playlist already, be sure to use iTunes. You can edit the song start/end times for the whole playlist so that you get 1 minute per song, and it's not necessarily just the first minute of each song. Example: do you really want to listen to the first 60 seconds of stairway to heaven while you're getting drunk? I think not.
