Just reminiscing a bit...this game was an absolute emotional rollercoaster for me...I was ballsy back then...If Ohio State wins, I'm 20k richer...if Xavier wins, I'm busted
The whole second half, Xavier was seemingly in command against the favored Buckeyes...so much so that near the end of regulation, I'd pretty much given up.
I had a load of laundry in the washer (the laundry room is 5 floors down from me) and needed to put my clothes in the dryer...went to the laundry room, glanced at the tv set hanging on the wall (which I'd switched to CBS during the wash cycle) and saw mayhem on the court. Instantly I consoled myself..."Oh well," I said to myself..."Xavier fought the good fight and pulled off the upset, and now I'm broke...shit happens...look at all the Xavier fans going crazy"
Took a second look at the tv and saw Lewis's 3!!!!!! Holy crap the world can **** w/ a guy...15 minutes later I've got 20k out of nowhere...Good times!!!!!
