Another serious question(s). When a muslim lady is home she takes off the clothing (burka/head gear). So what happens if a delivery man comes to the door and she doesn't have time to put it on. Seriously. Does she have some head gear next to a hat rack or something. What about parties and other men are at the house. Do the muslim women take the head gear off or do they party with it on? I'm just very curious. Being a christian man, I always wonder how I could "hit" a muslim lady who wears all the head/body gear. Do you think that is ever possible? Does this happen? Do you think muslim women ever have thoughts of straying adn bangina a christian or non-muslim man? Do you think when muslim women travel as a group to vegas or whereever that they ditch teh head/body gear? I'm really curious.

There is a big difference between religion that is voluntary, and religion that is enforced.

Enforced religion means obeying outer rules, written by others (not necessarily a prophet; scriptures are changed by others over the course of time). Voluntary religion, or spirituality, comes from within.

Enforced religion works with guilt and punishment and such things. Voluntary religion is a quest for truth. It is joyous and a process of personal unfoldment.

All religions have these two streams. Those who externalize it and force it on others, and those who internalize it.

To come back to your point, those who don't know about a religion will naturally judge it first by the actions of followers of that religion. Those who internalized their religion won't mind that, because their process is genuine.

One could easily make the point that, to the extent that religion is concerned with the behavior of others, rather than one's own, it is not internalized. Rules and regulations can become a hindrance, rather than a help.
