No Prob. Basically some posters ganged up on Pags, forcing him to leave to another forum. I was pissed because I follow his college football picks, the only 'capper I follow here (other than fading JJ

). I said some things and got some well deserved infractions. Bread is just trying to stir the pot.

He challenged two posters last week that if they get a better record than his 7 football picks he would change his avatar to the one requested by them. When the posters provided him with the avatar to use for next week after he lost handily to them he made a post that he is banned from PT (which no one has ever heard of being enforced before) and left. Stiffing doesn't always involve money. He stiffed his pride I suppose is the right term.

This is exactly the stuff we argued last night. Say what you want, but the guy hit a decent % the past 3 years. I guess it's a jealousy thing. The guy wins so why not embarrass him and run him off the forum? Somehow that makes the rest of us feel better about ourselves.

Why not let him have his one lousy thread in the college football forum? He should have been left alone.

Take his personality out of the equation. Would you rather follow a nice guy that hits 45% ATS or a less likable guy that hits 55% ATS. The bottom line is... the bottom line. Chasing him out was one of the dumbest things I've ever seen here. Period, end of story.

Too many inmature kids on the forum , all they go by is a week to week thing.

Pags has a documented record of winning every year and after a bad start is up again this year.

He seems to always hit when he posts his 3 unit plays.

Not sure how you believe that. It was much much worse 3 weeks ago.

The only difference this past weekend was Pags lost 2 challenges he issued.

I honestly do not care one way or the other. I am ENTERTAINED by this, but I don't have any emotion vested in it.

The way I see it, Pags issued some challenges and bets ...in fact, he even challenged SBR's very own Justin to a pick contest that was scheduled to begin this week---another one of pags' "avatar" challenges. He openly mocked Justin, and then offered Justin the challenge, and Justin accepted.

He did the very same thing with Laker and Dawg. But I don't think he figured on losing.

This entire episode seems to be Pags' issue and not a group of posters chasing him away.

Pags is Pags ... and those of us that have been for some years at SBR have seen it ... but by looking at the multiple posts on this thread it seems that he really did chase himself off the forum by not accepting the defeat and posting the avatar in question.

Hedge ... I also agree though, guy knows how to cap his stuff.

He did have a series of meltdowns at the end, no doubt. Pags is a perfectionist with OCD issues (notice the intentional wrong dates in his weekly threads for luck). Somehow, this combination helps make him a solid capper most of the time.

He is very average. He only picks obscure games and certain dog spreads. He knows as much about football as 95% of the serious college football handicappers here. He told everyone to fade my picks and offered reasons why they were bad picks with analysis why they were bad picks and I went 15-6 which is more wins above .500 that he will ever see this year. He is .500 right now by taking mostly unavailable lines (Auburn +11) that were only good for 2 seconds for $25 max bet or have never been matched. You can make more money here tailing several other college football cappers that have much better records and do not care about thread views or internet celebrity status.
