How about letting Pags back, SBR?

It's the only thread I read in the college football forum, and I usually find 2-3 solid plays through him every week. Sure the guy is high strung, but he should have never been attacked in his own thread. The guy provides a free service and got screwed by punks with nothing better to do.

Part of the problem, IMO, is with SBR. The sub-forums are supposed to be better policed. Regardless, you lost a major resource by banning Pags.

Up until quite recently, there was a certain internet celebrity with a flair for the absurd giving out his college football plays on SBR. On the surface, he seemed to have a rather large following. I was seriously considering joining his faithful congregation because he seemed a little unhinged to me, and I’m generally drawn to those kinds of people. But now he is gone.

If it were up to me not only would I allow him back, I would give him special font size privileges that allow him and him alone to be able to use fonts that go up to Size 11.

Again, he's over the top. No argument. But he gives his picks for free and he hits about 55% ATS the past 3 years (with me anyway). It's not like he's a paid tout that can't even manage 50%.

I went over and checked it out as I do with any new forum I learn about. Seems like a nice place. On the surface it appears a lil more mature and tailored for what Pags.

While I do stay out of the drama as I said I also agree that when you make a bet, money or pride and you lose that bey you as a man have to honor your word. Even if you are at oddss right or wrong with that person or those people you should honor your word. I understand the heat Pags was getting was overboard. How it started I have no idea because I wasn't concerned enough to archive it. I do know that the bashing and the hate would have eventually died if it was ignored. It wasn't and the ego naturally took over as it might with any of us and eventually it came down to a challenge. Challenge was lost and terms of challenge were not honored.

I like Pags and have no beef with him or anyone else that I know of. While personally I never understood or even cared for certain posters relentless attacks on the guy, I can't help but lose a bit of respect for not honoring a lost wager and proving that even in defeat you're a bigger man.

Pags was his own worst enemy. I didn't read his write ups, it doesn't matter to me..... but he got his ass handed to him by two posters and he F*cked off. Let him go.
