I joined a fraternity when I was in college (albeit -- that was a few years ago)

I loved it! It was the most fun I had in my life.
And I did have friends outside the fraternity, although they were usually people from my classes

First of all I never joined a frat.

2nd of all, frats have tons of parties with tons of women. They also do so much more shit that is so much more fun than what the dorms.

I'm my own poster and have been for the year I've been here which is more than most people can say about themselves. IDC what ppl think, I'll do the opposite to piss people off in fact.

Fraternities are good to build up a lot of business aspects for the future such as working in group, brotherhood, public speaking, etc

We are not the typical fraternity, NO HAZING and garbage, NO KEGGERS, we party, but not fukking daily and NEVER KEGS always BYOB

I paid dues for booze and the parties. Then we proceeded to slay massive amounts of tang for 4 years.

I thought that the main purpose was to get more than a handful of guys together so as to afford a big house and the means to throw big parties. I was right.

We do have GREAT Parties and mixers w/ sororities weekly and always a theme party. This week is jungle them, should be interesting. Last week was anything but cups where I drank out of a POT.

The events are fun too. Last week for alumni weekend, we roasted an 85 pound pig. Took 14 hours and tasted delicious.

It was a blast, we had drinking games going on, other party games, eating pig, hanging out w/ alumni, hanging out w/ the girls and it was great

Fraternity is a shit ton of work that most ppl here probably couldn't do. Planning each event takes much time and frustration to plan it, and get ppl there, organize it, making calls and all the other shit

Not at all.

The problem is, all these fukks went to some shitty school like Southwest North Dakota State Community College where all they have is 1 fraternity and 1 sorority. In that case, you might need to join. If you go to almost ANY Division 1 school, you are only paying for your friends.

I've argued with many fine folk that Fraternities are for people who cannot meet or make friends. An old university friend asked me (years ago) to go to a frat party and I laughed at him for asking me.

Frat brothers should get a life!!!
