Browns were terrible with him on the team, starting off 0-4 and looking like they could repeat the Lions' 2008 campaign.
Traded him to the Jets, and won (I guess it has to count as a win, doesn't it?) against the Bills.
As for the Jets.... They started with a nice 3-0 streak before losing to the Saints, who is easily one of the top 3 teams in the NFL. Feeling good about their great start, Jets management pulls the trigger on a deal that brings a disgruntled star receiver to New York....
.... And then....
.... They are upset by Miami on Monday Night Football. Justifications are made, Miami is a tough team, blah blah blah.....
.... Then comes the Buffalo game. The 1-4 Buffalo Bills. These guys lost 6-3 to the lowly Browns, a team that could barely find their way from the locker room to the field. The Bills forced 6, that's right, SIX interceptions and the Jets lost by a field goal by Ryan Lindell in overtime.
I've always thought that Braylan Edwards was overrated. I mean, you can only lead the NFL in dropped passes sooooo many times before the experts start calling you a bust, right? But a curse??! It's quite possible. The Jets looked really good before his arrival, and now they can't even beat the Buffalo Bills at home. "What the hell is goin on out there?!!!!!"
