The greek asks for id before cashout
After being a member at the greek for 7 years and making over 20 cashouts, The greek asked me to send them a copy of my drivers license today before they would send me a cashout of 1400. When i told them i had made over 20 cashout over previous years with no problem, they replied that if you had made over a certain number of cashouts over a period of time you were required to send id. (my last cashout was over a month ago) Could their explanation be any more vague? You'd think like most of the sportsbooks they would ask you to send your id for your first cashout, not after 7 years. Anyone have a similar experience lately?

Thats really nothing new Mr.Gary. TheGreek implemented that policy roughly a year or so ago, because of the big data base scare back then.

They asked for ID from me as well, and I don't do transfers nearly as often. I think it's a good thing though - I've heard too many horror stories about balances disappearing.

I know it's a big inconvenience GaryKing, but if you look at it from a books stand point it's all about the players safety.

The Greek maybe a good sportsbook, but as many others. Too many people have access to the paperwork. Scary to say the least.

They haven't asked for any ID from me. I've made 4 w/d's in the past 3 months as well..

They are doing it due to Jamaica's law "Know thy customer". The greek could not give a shit. I scanned my license and crossed out everything including my photo except my name. They paid no problem.

AK proved that he could break into any book and get your ID and password except for WSEX which caused some books to change policy.

they want the ID only from bigger bettors
i think they ask when you try to withdraw amount exceeding 5000 or when your SUM of withdrawals (past+recent) is over 5000 /i guess they wrote me some email about it 1yr ago/, maybe the amount is different, but it definitelly is 4 figure number
