Legends Weekly Betting Roundup for October 12-18
Weekly Betting Roundup for October 12-18
    B. Sharps / Head Linesman / Legends

The books finally started out the week in good fashion as the Dolphins and their Wildcat offense beat the Jets 31-27. The wiseguys (early -1 and 2) and the public’s all day game was on the Jets so it made for a nice start to the week for the house. Tuesday was a small winner for the house as University of Louisiana-Monroe covered and the game went way under in the bad weather.

Wednesday was a lucky one for the books as Tulsa somehow covered and the game stayed under 55 to give the house a sweep of the action. The players got some revenge on Thursday with Cincinnati easily knocking off South Florida and the game going over to give the players their winning parlay for the night. Friday was another good one for the players as Pittsburgh knocked off Rutgers. In the bases, the Yankees’ win was actually ok for the books as the public was split on the game, and the Dodger game was also a wash.

Saturday rolled around and the house got off to a nice start with Purdue knocking off Ohio State and Northwestern covering versus Michigan State. The players countered with Georgia creaming Vandy and UConn winning by 13 to make players on both sides win and middling the house small. The house picked up wins when Notre Dame covered against USC and Texas Tech beat Nebraska. The players mounted a small rally with Clemson and Mississippi covering and they also did ok with Oklahoma State winning. The big game of the day didn’t amount to much as Texas won by 3, slightly middling the books that moved off the number and/or had players buy a half a point (which is fairly common at times).

The players got revenge per usual on Sunday with Houston being very popular amongst sharps and the public, and they easily beat the Bengals. The public also stormed back to win the Baltimore game covering the 3 against the Vikings. The house managed a small win on Kansas City as Washington continues to struggle against previously winless teams. The public and wiseguys teamed up on Carolina -3 3 ½ to hurt the books on that late touchdown. During the afternoon, the books managed to win the Raider game and knock out some 13-point 4-team teasers in a much needed win for the house, because the public blasted them with the Patriots. The public and the wiseguys also teamed up on Arizona over phony Seattle to make it another winning day for the players. The house needs the Bears to cover 3 ½ Sunday night to salvage a small losing day.

Good luck players; talk to you next week!
