Anyone following that new football league?Any big names playing?

On all the ESPN shows like Around the horn and PTI it was a big joke for 1 minute about 10 days ago but I haven't heard how that new 4 team football league competing against the NFL is doing?Any big name players that hit the skids where playing for a team in this league is the only alternative to selling crack or working in a car wash?

Maybe this league came along at the right time where all the conservatives that are siding with Rush Limbaugh for getting screwed and ridiculed by the NFL will pretend to be fans of this league as a boycot of the NFL.

I watched a game last week between Florida and Las Vegas. No real big name players but several recognizable former players and coaches for that matter. Hard to judge based on just one game but would say it's slightly better than a pre-season NFL game based on what I saw.

The problem I see is the limited number of teams. Gonna be difficult to generate enough interest to evolve with such a limited fan base amoung other things.

a few names that I was surprised to see....none real surprising though I did wonder why a couple of these guys were out of NFL.....Simeon Rice chiefly amongst those I'd suppose.

Florida has the most "big name" players.

4 team league....boggles my mind really.
