Huh? The "non-math" guys are the ones pressing F5 20 times/minute at 1 in the morning to get their sweat on on some untelevised Hawaii game from the sound of things.

Too general. There are so many different types of people on both sides of the equation.

Yeah, but I mean you can be one of those guys but still be a degenerate who lives and dies with every play.

I don't even watch 95% of my games. I'd bet the people who are sweating every game have a little higher stress level than someone "tweaking a model." There really isn't much stress in building and backtesting a model. It's not like you have a deadline. If you don't have a profitable model for a sport, you don't bet it. It's that simple. The biggest stresses I have are fighting traffic to try to get in a last second wager and like today when the new chick at the Binions parking garage said I had to pay $12 because I lost my parking ticket when I went to go make a wager even when she said she remembered me leaving twice earlier. Fukkin cunt had to call security. Needless to say I can't use their parking garage any more.

I'm sure the "math guys" who wager online have a few payout and funding hassles every now and then, though. I'm sure that's their biggest stress.
