He lost in the finals to a top 5-8 caliber player. Not news at all. Davydenko is very good and hardcourt is considered Nadal's worst surface.

That injury set him back big time..not an easy thing to recover from, especially with his style of play. He will be back to #1 eventually, just gotta give him time to heal.
