#2Turkey just passed anti-gambling legislation, and I guess it's such a small sector of the market it's not worth the hassle.

 Canada I don't know.Comment

#3read somewhere that the u.s. wanted neteller to stop servicing canada too,so of course neteller will do whatever uncle sam tells them in an effort to settle their legal issues and escape with only a manageable fineComment

#4The question is once the US releases Lawrence and Lefevre what will happen?

My guess is the two will start the next neteller and never return or Neteller will pick up Canada again. In light of the WTO ruling, it would be very hard for the US to say don't service Canada.

Bottom line is as long as the two founders have ankle bracelets, the DOJ says jump and neteller says how high.

#6Quite interested in how you came up with this belief JJ, seeing that I live in Canada, have quite a few close contacts immersed in both the Provincial and Federal level, and yet there is absolutely nothing on the radar that confirms your theory.....Originally posted by jjgoldCanada is next to ban gambling about 1 yr awayComment

#8I'm Canadian. I never thought Neteller would abandon Canadians like this, those cowards! I don't trust Canada at all, at this point. I think Canada will collapse under U.S. pressure. That's why I'm hoping Antigua can do something with their WTO win. Problem is Antigua is too small a country. It's worse than David vs Goliath. It's like an ant biting an elephant.Originally posted by StumpageQuite interested in how you came up with this belief JJ, seeing that I live in Canada, have quite a few close contacts immersed in both the Provincial and Federal level, and yet there is absolutely nothing on the radar that confirms your theory.....Comment
