Who moved my dancing twinks to the PZ and why?

That thread was in PT for weeks, why did it suddenly get moved to the basement? Why do certain threads that have lived in PT for weeks or months even suddenly get designated as PZ material at all? This reeks of censorship, and if you'll censor dancing twinks, how can we trust that you won't censor what's said about Sportsbooks?

You should be amazed with some of the innocent threads that are moved to the PZ. SBR has lost the ship and the captain is going down with it.

Pavy's right, SBR has been trying to cover their censorship tracks by letting threads survive in Players Talk until they've fallen from recent memory, and then PZ'ing them retroactively to remove them from the search index. Just like the rose, censorship by any other name still stinks to high heaven.

We deserve better from our Mods. We deserve a consistent standard by which suitability for genuine off-topic discussion is gauged. Either somebody screwed up in letting it stay in the first place, or somebody screwed up by sending it to the basement when it didn't belong there. I've even received infractions from Ganchrow for a week old post, in a blatantly obvious attempt to hang me with infraction points for comments that were deemed within the Terms of Service when they were made, but then a Mod with a vendetta used against me after they were no longer editable. Ganch's no longer involved with SBR, so that may be a moot point, but it illustrates that the moderating here can be like night and day depending on who's on duty.

I criticized Ganch for his policy of hiding in Invisible Mode in the chat room and eavesdropping on what were thought to be private conversations and then either posting that information on the forum or just "decloaking" in chat and insulting people for those comments on the spot. No matter how you slice it, that was the most disrespectful treatment of a poster by a staff member that you can imagine.

We all know if someone hits the Abuse button in chat that the log will be examined to mete out punishment, but when you're PMing someone in chat it's not unreasonable to think that it's just the two of you conversing, and not a hidden Mod waiting to pounce on a comment that was never intended for public consumption.

And you split your time between preaching, kissing ass, and misspelling a lot, PeeMike. Who is to say which is the better use of our finite amount of moments on the planet? The foundation of true community is the ability to make a case for how things could be done better. People feel a greater sense of connection to things they feel they have a hand in shaping. Where you see whining (note how to spell it) I see an honest effort to foster discussion. Unlike you, I can articulate a position without preaching.

SBR probably doesn't care if you criticize them in threads or talk about sports as long as it keeps you and others visiting the site and generating hit counts leading to the all important sign up referrals... This is also probably the same reason why your other thread found itself in the PZ... In the long run blame JJ as if he had successfully built the gay groupie fan club he has been trying for the last few years Willie Bee would be dressing in drag and flying gay pride flags in front of double-wide in the trailer park as long as it generated the desired page views...
