Today's game is going to be the tell all of this series. Dodgers are once again in a must win situation. Last night was an embarrasment to the Dodgers and their fans. If they can't pick up the W tonight... Dodgers are done!

Managers just give the media the what they want to hear. I would say game 4 is more pivotal then game 3, game 5 is more pivotal then 4, and so on.

Guys, I have money on the Dodgers in NLCS, and at this point, no I don't think they are going to pull it out. I wish I was on the other side, but I'm not. I'm just saying this series is far from being over. When Furcal steps into the batters box around 8:07 tonight, the score is 0-0. The Dodgers are a couple hits away from swinging the momentum back in their favor. Just because they got blown out, doesn't mean the series is done. Today's a new day.

If you really believe Torre gave the game away then there's no point having this discussion. Why not leave Kuroda in there then and save the pen if he didn't think they would win before the game even started?

Sarms......obviously Torre didn't give the game away. He still tried to win the game, he just tried to do so without the services of Wolf. I'll tell you why Torre took Kuroda out. He wanted to see what he could get out of Billingsley. Chad proved he had better stuff, better control, and gave LA some quality innings. Now if game 7 ever rolls around, Torre can scratch the Kuroda project, and either go with Billingsley or Wolf.

That's one good thing about baseball. There seems to be no hangover effect. Each day is a new beginning.

agreed, I still think it's Phils in 6. LA must win tonight or it's over in 5. You have to wonder where are the bats for LA. If it wasn't for the misplay by Rollins and Utley in Game 1 Hamels shuts them down and Pedro and Lee were untouchable. Long way to go.

I think it will be Billingsley for sure if it goes 7. But, he knew Game 3 would be tight and went with the best pitcher that he thought could shut the Phils down. If you look at their numbers Kuroda has pretty much shut the Phils down everytime he has pitched., where Wolf has horrible numbers against them. There's a reason Wolf went from the potential Game 1 starter to Game 4, and it's the 5.11 ERA this year, compared to the 0.00 ERA Kuroda had this year and 1.39 ERA last year plus the 3.00 ERA in the playoffs last year.

Wolf has a great chance to beat Blanton but he would have probably lost to Lee no matter what. In other words, Torre may have kind of given this game away with an eye on winning the other games and the series. I could be wrong, it's just a thought.

Laker, being a complete Philly sports fan my entire life this group of guys is just different from any other teams from this city in quite awhile. We have had so many pro sport teams choke under pressure! This is totally unreal!!! It still ain't over yet!

Amaro Jr signed Pedro, Ibanez, and made a great trade for Cliff Lee.

Not sure Gillick had his stamp on any of those.

Actually it was Ed Wade who laid the foundation, with drafting Ruiz, Howard, Utley, Rollins, Burrell, Hamels, Myers. Gillick just filled in the pieces. Amaro sealed the deal this year at the trade deadline when there was a deal in place for LA to get Lee and Amaro came in at the last minute and stole him away from LA. Still ain't over but I can't see this team losing 3 straight.

Amaro = Lee, Ibanez, Francisco, Pedro, Park
