Pags... We have to agree on the rules so we're playing by the same terms.
Pick a day and time. We'll both post our selections at the same time.
No, you can't use the ones you picked earlier this week.

At said time, all plays must be available at Pinnacle in the 5 minutes prior. All prices from Pinnacle.

I was looking forward to this but something tells me the terms and conditions are gonna spoil any chance of ever seeing this highly anticipated challenge.

I can tell we're going to have all sorts of rule questions. When can you challenge an opponent's pick?
I nominate JJGold to me mediator.

hmmm...so let me get this straight Justin, I'm to be penalized for posting my games at current numbers at the time I posted them (I don't care about the juice we can say -110 for all games)? and I'm supposed to give you a free pass for not being around to pick your games all week? for being such a fair guy this seems as though you are trying to skew things your way...

Pags,
If you like, pick a time for next week. I can post my picks first, or pm them to JJGold (if he accepts the nomination).

Way to weasel out, pags. LOL.
So Justin is supposed to make his picks when most of the value has evaporated?

post seven plays between now and tomorrow morning before 8:55 AM PST...all games will be -110...the only way you win the contest is picking more winners than the other person...match them against my seven posted plays or I will consider you chicken...
I've got to go to the gym and to work...I'll check back in later...don't dissapoint me...
run some mathmatical computations for trying to beat me and see what your computer comes up with...I'm looking forward to frying it this weekend...

monkey focker,
we agreed to this challenge at the beginning of the week...he wasn't around much and that's not my problem, heck he didn't even make his SBR TV appearance...I will not be penalized for getting to work early...I think Justin is concerned because I am ahead of the line move most of the time and as I've heard him state this is the biggest advantage you can have as a sports handicapper...
why don't you worry about your little Vegas clients and leave the handicapping to us guys that actually wager?

I'm not giving you a 3-day head start on line movement. I might as well flip coins - make it all change.
If I can use Tuesday's lines, I'll be happy.
You don't really need a 3-day crutch do you?

alright justin, you create a thread next week in the college football forum...you can add your plays throughout the week as you feel fit...make seven choices, NFL or college
I will do the same in my thread...juice will be wiped out...I can't just post mine all at once as I wait for my offers to get matched and very frequently after I release my plays lines tend to move against me (could be just coincidence though, not saying that my releasing my plays moves lines)...
it's fair to have rules this way but to just say pick a day and time, especially on a Friday when the lines are picked over like a chicken bone is not fair...

you can post your lines on Sunday evening if you wish Justin, you would actually have an advantage on me in that I won't officially post my plays until my matchbook plays are matched, even though I make my bookmaker plays on Sunday nights when the lines come out (and I can tell you I'm ahead of the line move about 85% of the time with those plays)...if the rules are fair for both parties how is it that I get a three day advantage? what are you doing on Sunday night and Monday that you can't handicap football games? I have a real job yet find a way to be ahead of line moves...are you concerned that not only do I pick good games but I also get good numbers?

if you really know football and don't rely entirely on a computer than it's not flipping coins bud, even if you don't get the best of a number...
I have to go to work and would rather not argue with you about this any longer...next Tuesday 9 PM EST you start up a thread and copy and paste bookmaker lines (not pinnacle, who's lines tend to fluctuate with crazy juice)...we pick our seven games from there...
until then, good luck...

I never claimed to know football, just that I can pick winners.
Alright, Tuesday. We each start our own thread. Make your picks anytime before the game goes.
The game must be available at -110 or less at Greek or Bookmaker at the time you post.
NCAAF or NFL.
Bring it.

You can also post your picks from a foreign exchange like I do matched at +120. In this way you can compete with non-existent lines at +100 as posted by pagscheat.

I SECOND this nomination
jjgold is the ONLY one who has the experience, reputation and personal integrity and natural authority to oversee something like this.
And SOMEONE must oversee it or it will regress into chaos. Top talent handicappers have too volatile personalities to self-govern their own challenges and contests.
jjgold get in here and regulate!!

This is pure dick-waving, plain and simple.
20 point question here to first correct answer with proof:
Assume player "J" hits 57% on all plays. Assume player "P" hits 50% on all plays. In a 7 game matchup, what is the fair no-vig moneyline on the matchup of "J vs P"? Assume a tie = no action.
For a bonus 5 points, what are the odds of a push in a 7-game matchup?
