Jim Rome and Bud Bundy, one and the same.Rome was the kind of kid growing up that needed a theme at the beginning of every school year to try to get the chicks.I'm sure he tried them all like trying to be the jock, the cowboy, the stoner musician, the computer geek etc.until he finally settled on just talking about jocks when he realized he couldn't be one.

So after he got knocked on his ass by Jim-Chrissy Everett he starts growing fu man chu's and takes on his tough guy way of talking.Am I just the only one annoyed by him?He sniffs alot of renegade athlete jocks and you can tell he's scared of some of them.I would like him to interview Ray Lewis,Tyson or some other thug and start knitpicking on them.Maybe bash Obama or something to really piss them off.Maybe defending Rush would be another good topic for an ass whooping.

Used to be a huge fan of Rome on the radio. Tuned in every weekday. Love his sarcasm.

Never carried over to his tv show. Rome is radio.

Completely agree, sickler....I listen to Rome every morning, but when I catch him on JRIB, it's just not the same....without a doubt he's a radio personality....TV isn't his thing. He comes off awkard when he reads a script. Sometimes the first few minutes of his TV show and Radio show are identical, and it's hilarious when I hear it, but then terrible when I see it again on TV....should stick to Radio.

Maybe a WNBA point guard would be a good candidate to bop him. When I have a day off I love watching NFL live, Around the Horn, and PTI, but during his show I either wash my car, workout, do laundry, or take a nap. He has nerve to make fun of the way people talk when he talks in a slow, dull, monotone voice. He always has such exciting guests like Boo Weekly or a race car driver during football season.

I'm surprised they don't give Brian Kenny his own show during that time slot. He's real good on ESPN radio the times I leave work late driving home. Rome's radio show is worse the time I heard it driving across country. It's like 1st prize is watching his 1/2 hour TV show, and 2nd prize is listening to his 3 hour radio show. He must have some photos on somebody doing something to sheep to stay on. Rome to me will always be a quakebuttock (how's that for a $5 word, and I'm talking urban definition).
