they already did go after Urban Meyer nina, before he took the job at Florida...can't get as many quality athletes into Notre Dame due their academic restrictions otherwise he probably would have taken the job...world travels slow to your village I guess...

Brian Kelly was amazing tonight...simply amazing...

unless Notre Dame can lower their academic requirements, like most of the reptiles you date do when they allow you to go out with them, Urban Meyer will not go to Notre Dame to be the head football coach...he already has the best job in American you silly girl...

Nope, Nick Saban has that. I am biased that way. I didn't say Urban would be interested. But the Irish are kinda like you homely guys. You keep thinking you have a shot with the homecoming queen and keep asking. And she always laughs at you with her friends.

Unless Weiss win this weekend, it is over for him. Overall, Kelly would be a fine choice. Wiess has made a mockery of his time there.

why do you even open your mouth and try to sound intelligent about college football?...Urban Meyer is on record as saying Notre Dame is his dream job, he started there as an assistant and seriously considered taking the job (but declined to the academic restrictions)...don't play with any sharp knifes tonight please...

Pete Carroll has the best job in football..more so than Meyer or Saban.

And as for Kelley, overrated coach imo. Very good one and has done well at UC, but I'm not sold he'd be a consistent winner at a top program. Just a few years ago everyone was on the nuts of the Rutgers coach, and to be honest I'd take him over Kelley.

Looks like Kelly to ND is starting to pick up some steam. Irish fans might want to root for the team to lose a few for the good of the program in the long run.

Brian Kelly should replace Charlie Weis as Notre Dame coach.
That is the only conclusion I can reach after Weis once again failed to defeat USC, his fifth such loss to them.
Weis was unlucky, but luck has its own way of working out.
A few years ago against USC it was the Bush Push, when Reggie Bush was helped over the line by a teammate that defeated Weis' team.
Yesterday it was poor play-calling and a porous defense in the third quarter that cost Notre Dame.
Weis has had enough chances - let's get Brian Kelly.
The Massachusetts native (48) has turned the Cincinnati program around in astonishing style, leading them to a first ever Big East title last year.
This year Cincinnati are contenders and give every appearance that they will win the title again.
Notre Dame should try and snap up Kelly before they let another great coach go.
Remember Urban Meyer? How could we forget. He was an assistant coach at Notre Dame under Tyrone Willingham, and now he's the best coach in football.
Let’s not make the same mistake again. Brian Kelly is the obvious successor.
Weis is done. His team is 4-2 and headed for a minor bowl game.
Notre Dame will never be a national power under him because, simply put, his teams cannot play defense.
The third quarter yesterday was an embarrassment. The secondary looked like they were playing high school ball against NFL players.
Sure, they rallied in the fourth quarter but it was all too familiar. Yet another loss to USC, our eighth in a row.
Weis has to go and Kelly should replace him.

Brian Kelly reminds me so much of Bobby Petrino coached teams, its not even funny
