South Florida's D-line are beasts, this game will come down to if Cincy can block them. If Cincy O-line plays a strong game,Cincy should roll. IMO, South Florida offense is one dimensional with their speedy QB, and I don't see them hanging with the Cats as long as their O-line holds up. The only thing that scares me is this line looked as it was going up to 3.5, but drooped down to 2 this morning.

Cincy is not a "trap", it is just a visiting favorite (Jets were a trap because they were 3-1 and Miami was 1-3, etc, etc,).

BUT I like USF, I am NOT impressed by Cincy's victory over Oregon State, and I AM impressed by USF "D" shutting down Florida State at Florida State. 7 pts!

Home Thurs nite conference dog, this is the game of The Decade for USF, Cincy was in major bowl last yr, will not be as fired up as USF. Will be warm for The Bearcats, too (electrolytes).

USF + 2.5 pts.

there r a couple of differences bet. last yrs game n this yrs game. cincys defense is decent this yr but believe me they only have 1 ret. starter and not nearly as good the secondary they had las yr, look for the bulls to test them early with sum deep balls. with usf having the home field advantage this yr is huge in this game as both teams come in rolling. only way u slow down an explosive spread attack is to pressure the qb into hurried throws and be physical at the line of scrimmage and have a quick secondary, which the bulls do have sum playmakers back there, esp, FS nate allen. cincy has played south florida well covering 5 strait in the series but theres a good chance that will come to an end tonite in a racous home stadium. the bulls return the favor from a humiliating loss last yr n show they r 4 real as cincy will be facing the most athletic defense theyve faced so far n daniels will make enough big plays. Edge to USF +2. GL

I hate when I love the numbers and they kill me.... Game after game this happens.... But what I know is what I know after watching both teams perform on live TV... The numbers in this one can sux my nuts... I've seen both of these squads twice this year (S Fla both with new QB) and what the numbers won't tell me and my gut will is that cincy on a nuetral field spots 12-14 any day of the week.... -2 even on the road is a gift.....GL all....

This might be another easy vegas gift pick. Just because the public might be overwhelmingly on it, it's doesn't necessary mean it's going to be a sucker losing bet.
