USA is already in and Costa Rica needs the win desperately. No way you can bet the US here, it's a pass at worst. We've discussed this in the soccer forum and teams like Brazil, England, Ghana, etc. have all lost in situations.

US will be distracted with the Charlie Davies accident as well. If anything take the over as Ticos will be pushing forward the whole game and US will be playing free-flowing with nothing at stake.

Just some food for thought.

USA haven't lost at home to Costa Rica but there's always a first time. USA have qualified already and we expect them to play like most of the teams that have qualified - Denmark, Serbia, Germany, etc. It's hard to win a game against a desperate side especially when there's little or no need for a win. Costa Rica needs this win badly since Honduras will have an easier time in El Salvador. Costa Rica hasn't done anything wrong against the USA as to deserve the punishment of being banished from the World Cup. Join me in congratulating Costa Rica ahead of their qualification to the World Cup.
