    [OFF TOPIC]: Discovery's Planet Earth
Anyone here watching this series, that started tonight? I just watched the first episode "Pole to Pole". I can tell you, I'm going to watch them all. I think there are 11 episodes.

It showed a Great White Shark jump out of the water after catching a sea lion. The Shark was completely out of water, it was amazing to see.

Then they showed a Wild Dog hunt of about 11 dogs using tactics to take on Impalas. From the air they showed how each dog split off to the flanks to help in the hunt. Again, its a sight to see.

Also they showed the making of them catching a Pride of Lions, about 50 of them, taking down a Elephant in pitch black darkness.

If you didn't know about it, or didn't plan on watching. I suggest you Tivo it or try to catch a episode. I think you will want to see them all.

If you have HD, that will be a plus.

I love Discovery channel, all those kinds of channels. I'm glad I only have basic cable, not the super-expanded cable, because there's like 5 different Discovery channels, 3 different MTVs and 3 more VH1s, way too much. But yeah I love the shows they have on there. My favorite genre is the anthropological reenactments of the history of man, progressing from apes up to now. The info is fascinating, the reenactments are cheesy, the acting is horrible, it's got so much great stuff in it. The only shows I like more are the ones on MSNBC. Dateline's To Catch A Predator, and Lockup, if you are familiar with either of those.
