if i do not have anything insightful or meaningful to contribute, then i will not make more than 1 post. i do not come on sbr to socialize, only to discuss a bet, play, or game. however, during those important discussions, i often make 5 or 6 posts on that subject in one day.

other people enjoy socializing on here, and i think that their threads are often quite entertaining to read. that is just not what i choose to do with my free time

Until then there should be a probationary period where you can only have as many points as posts. This will prevent low level freeloading and save SBR from getting slammed with low level orders from posters who have contributed nothing except a log in once a day.
