Can someone tell me some info about Billy Walters? I have read the articles, the interviews, and about his passion for golf and the fact that he owns golf in vegas. But does he still sell plays? If so, how do you get them? How can this man or his sports betting company be found? I am intrigued about this guy and his life??? I mean we all get on here in search of the winning game. And he seems to be the most well respected name in the industry. Well close the Jimmy The Greek. But a friend called me 3 weeks ago and said BW is releasing a play. But it was passed through like 30 people before it got to me and no one can tell me where the hell they got it from. It was an over play. WHICH WON BEFORE HALFTIME.. Then i got another on a side last week...3 point dog wins by 30...This is the stuff im looking for. Rumor is his plays are 10,000 per play. But how do you get them? Someone lead me in the direction i need. Thanks

I doubt a newcomer can get far enough ahead in line to really take advantage of the picks. I know it can be done with some luck, but very difficult.

Walters certainly isn't a tout, and I'm pretty sure he's not selling his plays, rather paying people to help him get down big. There's a book "The Smart Money" where the author, Michael Konik, moved for Billy for a short period a few years ago. Its a good read.Originally posted by FishheadComment -
I know several runners for Billy Walters here in Vegas. He doesn't sell plays. In fact, he often has to put out decoys because people are stealing them at times and/or books find out about them early and move the number before the runners can get the money down. I'm not sure what you'd want from him. It's purely a coincidence that the two plays that may have been his, covered so easily. It's certainly not that simple. He uses statistical arbitrage and Kelly like every other advantage gambler.Comment -

I use to get Walters plays via a beard that bet for him, we cleaned up.
Now it is much more discreet and very few other than the beards and a few sportsbook clerks have the plays first

The runners for him? How do they get to be his runners? And for all of you cynical people, I am very interested in tout services...How the hell do they make it? They are 50%ers at best...You cannot win following most touts. But my research on BW goes furthur than a love for sports. It also intrigues me that he has such a passion for the game of golf. News travels very fast in Vegas, some BS, some not. I can tell you this, sportbooks know his runners and limit his bets[if not a myth]. He would hafta go on line to place any serious $ bet. Many times in Vegas at the windows[yrs ago] I could not place a large bet with out ok from management. There all paranoid as hell.Comment -
