Yet again, refs nearly ruin a FANTASTIC football game!
I can't take it when the refs make HUGE calls on either borderline or just plain NON-infractions, like that phantom pass interference on Will Allen that went for 50 yards and gave the Jets the lead!! If you're not 100% sure you just saw pass interference, DON'T THROW A FLAG!!!!

I would have been throwing sh*t through windows if that cost Miami the game, and not even because I care that much... just because Miami didn't deserve to lose on that bullcrap call!!!

Seems like the simplest, easiest code for refs to follow, but they don't?!?! Simple as ABC: If you know you just saw an infraction, throw a flag. If you can't tell for sure, DON'T. I think all of us as fans MUCH prefer the refs missing an infraction than calling one that never happened!!! Right, which is worse??!!

The refs are following the players lead, they want to be part of the game. Look at the Yankee game the other night; anyone who has sight could see that ball was fair. But it gave both the lead umpire and the guy who made the call newsworthy.

That's depressing if that's true... I don't think it's that. They are just not using their heads. The baseball analogy is different -- calls like fair or foul they have to go one way or the other. I'm talking about calling penalties in football when the players just aren't making them, when the refs could easily leave the flags in their pocket if they're not 100% sure of them.

The NFL has to change it's rules regarding pass interference. If it's over 20 yards, the receivers has to be obviously grab before giving a team that many yards. This ticky tack hand jostling should always be let go, especially when the game that close and competitive.

I worked in the NBA for years, those guys HATE the fact the players get all the pub. They have egos even greater than the players, so why should the NFL referees be any different?

Braylon should have caught that ball, then it wouldn't be an issue. I agree though, it should have not been pass interference

A new rule that I hate is the defenseless receiver. Its football for christ's sake, if you don't want to take a hit don't play, or tell your QB to not throw it up for grabs and leave you open to get knocked the fvck out.
If it seems to good to be true it usually is!!

I have a natural instinct to exploit market ineffieciencies!!

refs dont make stupid calls for publicity. thatd be like quarterbacks throwing interceptions for publicity.

both will be out of a job soon enough if they do
