Almost everyone here hates touts is it because you have been burned by them or just don't like the idea?

I confess I have bought 2 plays from a tout before 1st was a winner 2nd was a loser but came with a stipulation of a "free" next play well 3 "free" next plays later I said fck this as I had purged a chunk of money and never went back, these were my younger days in the betting world and was on a bad streak so lets hear some stories good bad or neutral

Oi oi oi remember when i was a ignorant newbie i actually paid JM for a months subscription on his 'personal' picks Needless to say after a fat wad of my $$$ went missing i decided to get off my arse and do things properly. Best move ive made in a long long time. Besides, when one considers the depth of talent and what can be learnt from this site why would you ever pay for a 'tout'?? A massive thankyou to the SBR community, after sifting through the BS artists from the 'real deals', combined with effective bankroll management i can honestly say this is one of the most efficient and 'alternate' investment vehicle ive ever implemented

Considered it during my early days. I mean, how good does it sound to follow someone who supposedly gets 70%+ and make a steady income right? Luckily, I decided against it and eventually went on different internet forums such as 2+2 and one that provides tout picks for free when other people buy them. Eventually, I found SBR and here I am.

Yep, did it in my younger days, no real shame in admitting it to be fair, the important thing was I learned young and fast, and I didnt get hit for a massive fee from a "big time" tout, the wunderdog was the lucky recipient of my hard earned $69 back in the day - picks were ok and came out ahead in that time, but it was sort of an "empty feeling" even though i'd made profit, the best winners are always those that you pick yourself

No...if you go into the service area here and see those that pin their hopes on the touts...they are usually the ones that you do not see posting for months after losing everything...

One thing I notice about those responding in the service areas plays...they all seem desperate with that I have to win today attitude... Until you understand you will win and lose...you will never win... This is a never ending game..

Way back in 1992 was the first and only time I bought a tout's picks. It was from Jim Fiest and let me IMO he cannot pick winners. I ended up getting my money refunded after some bitching complaining and long distance phone calls (It was $50 I think). I vowed never again and spent more time learning to cap myself.
