Helluva game there. US escaped as Honduras missed a penalty with 3 minutes left that would have tied it. Razor-thin margin between being in big trouble qualifying or celebrating tonight.

This helps Costa Rica too as US will likely play a B squad Wednesday and may even lay down for the Ticos.

Crazy game, a lot of poor defending but very entertaining. Honduras had a penalty they put over the bar followed by another golden chance to equalize. USA did well to hold on.

Whoever gets 4th place is out anyways south america is 2 steps ahead of concacaf
