i come from the greatest bagel city in N.A... people think the best bagels here are St Viateur OR Fairmount bagels in montreal.. not the case.

it's where i live.. i live here in the most jewish area in canada.. all old jews live here.. and around the corner from my house is a store called Real Bagel.. omg how delicious those fresh hot bagels are..

shlowey always throws me a few extra each time.. he tosses in 15 or 16 for me and doesn't charge me.. shlowey is a helluva nice guy.. in exchange for those 3 or 4 extra bagels, i toss him a bone and give him a winner.. he always asks me who i like when i walk in there.. and when i give him a loser, he still smiles.. and when i give him a few winners and he makes some good cash, he'll put in 23 in a bag for me and toss in a free cheese danish and a few chocolate muffins..

The water in Canada is not as good as Northeast NJ and the dough is much much better where I am from. In Canada the bagels are too soft inside and the two times i was there I took a few bites and through them right into the fukkin street and never ever again will I get bagels in Canada.
