    New Bet 365 Scam E-mail...Beware
Received this from Bet365 This morning. Maybe others have received something similar but this is the first time I've seen it.

    Dear Mr. XXXXX,
We are writing by way of courtesy to inform you that the payment card you have registered on your betting account is due to expire at the end of this month.

If you have a new card with the same number:

Simply change your card expiry date online the next time you wish to make a deposit or a withdrawal. Select ‘Top up Funds’ or ‘Withdraw Funds’.

If you wish to change your card number:

Select ‘Members’ and then select ‘Payment Options’. Please note, if you currently have a balance or unsettled bets in your account, you will only be able to update your expiry date and issue number. If you wish to change your card number, please contact one of our Customer Service Advisors for assistance either by replying to this email or telephoning us on the telephone number below.

If you require any further assistance, our team are available 24 hours a day by Live Chat, email at xxxxxxx@customerservices.com, toll free on 1866 333 3238 or alternatively call +44 1782 684757 and we will be pleased to assist you. If you need to contact us to discuss any queries on your account regarding your payments or personal details, we may ask you to confirm the 4 digit security number that you selected when registering your account.

    Kind Regards

    Customer Services
Called the number and guess who? Bet365. I have never even played with them so who knows how they got my correct name and e-mail address. If I was even considering playing with this outfit, I certainly wouldn't now.

Dont think this is a scam. Perhaps you used Bowmans or some other purchased book a long while back.

Not that I'm aware of. What other books has 365 bought out or bought player accounts from?

Strange, but the good thing is that they aren't saying click on a link that is embedded in the email.

With that said, I've used several credit cards with bet365 and never had any problem or security issues.
