Has your computer ever been hi-jacked?
I am experiencing probably the most complete and utter take over of my computer I am posting from another computer. This malware came in disable my antivirus program, disabled my ability to run executables, disables all Internet traffic except a link to a website to buy the program to stop it. I want to put out a word of warning...yesterday was the first time I ever visited atdhe.net. I couldnt even see the 3rd and 4th quarter of the Nebraska game.

    I will destroy this company.

I have a $200 program on my computer that I pay for every year and I havent had any major issues. Was it the Trojan anti-virus?

It was more of a Malware type program that deletes the original antivirus and installs it's own. I truly don't know how this happened as I am pretty good with security. It is possible they masked a message for my consent by I doubt it. The good news is my research suggests that it is just nuisance type of intrusion. Until I get confirmation I'll leave it disconnected from the Internet.

I think I know what you are talking about. It is usually a 3-4 day nuisance

I disabled the "process"---deleted the "folder" and reinstalled the anitivirus. Worked fine but slow as S*IT. Woke up this morning and it was back again lol

You did not get it from ATDHE. You probably got it from the sites where you got those pictures of Snow White ****ing a bunch of dwarves.

Boot your computer into safe mode with networking and download and run spyware programs, if you are that troubled by all of it. You cannot get rid of any spyware while running Windows normally, it has to be in safe mode. Press F8 while you are rebooting.

Same thing happened to me months ago...I followed the directions in this tutorial and it saved my pc (and my sanity)...I skipped step 1 as it was useless for me...it didn't work the first or second time and took an entire afternoon, but I finally got my pc back to normal. If you do this, make sure you read through the comments, as this is an extremely advanced trojan and is not a black & white easy fix...also, I'll bet the trojan I had has been updated so PLEASE read through all the very helpful comments...this is crucial

Again, this trojan is nasty & will take many frustrating hours to get rid of but man was I ever so happy when I beat it thanks to this tutorial

                          Good Luck

Wrong, if he has what I had it gets progressively worse each day and soon his computer will be completely unusable

Props to this company "SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition" got rid of it after killing the "process" and removing the folder for the Trojan. This programs killed both memory and file programs.
