I'm posting mainly for my bookmaking and points bets but then I get drawn into conversations about games mostly because I'm here for bookmaking and points bets. It's a viscous cycle.

Honestly, I was just lurking before I found out I could purchase things with SBR points. I don't think I will ever amass enough points to buy Final Four tickets, but the pizza is nice.

The SBR points system was a great idea. Old saying in business, "if your not growing, your dying." Sbr has done a nice job over the years evolving the site. Still top place on the web for gambling info.

I've been posting less lately and that is at least partly because of the points. From my perspective, it makes the forum worse with guys begging for change and starting threads looking for 82 cent wagers and whatnot.

But I am positive I am in the minority in feeling that way. I don't know the ins-and-outs of it financially for SBR, but in terms of creating forum noise, it was a good business idea.
