Reverse line movement on the Yankees?
If SBR odds is accurate, 5dimes is getting 66% of its bets on the Twins but they've moved the line from Yankees -275 to Yankees -300.

That's some serious reverse line movement. Is it meaningful?

It could be because I put 20 dollars on the Yankees

A few select customers could easily manipulate that line IMO but you bring up a great point. Good Thread

66% of the bets or 66% of the cash? Huge difference.

Great point, SBR should clear that up.

I just did some capping for this game and it's apparent that the Yankees really are HUGE favorites for this game. The RLM is warranted, imho.

Isn't sbrodds 5 Dimes only? That would explain the difference.

Also, all stats are % of BETS, that's why RLM is meaningful. If it were % of money, you'd never see reverse moves.

Thanks for clearing that up. It probably seemed like a dumb question, but it will help me a great deal.

I don't agree with that. For example, let's say Lebron James gets injured an hour before a game and will miss a game and the books find about it. You don't think we'd see RLM if the majority of the money was on the Cavs before the inury?

If it were % of money, you'd never see reverse moves unless there is some new information on key injuries or weather.

                              There, I fixed it.
