#36Although they stole me 20.500 euros, my balance in Mb is almost equal plus my pending withdrawals are to my bank account... So i don't know if any "fair" solution can be given and of course i cannot epekt sth like that from Mb given the whole situation...Comment -

#39For MB maybe the logical is to pay people who had deposited more than withdrawn. But imagine... one person who deposited 1000 eur, lost them at the first bet and now claim for them. And another one who deposited 1000, witdrew 2000 and has now 5000 in balance. Would be correct to pay the first one and not the second??Originally posted by braveheart1I do not know how Mb can decide which customers are going to compensate in a way. Maybe those who had pending withdrawals via moneybookers? Or those who had deposited with Mb more money than they had withdrawn? Any idea?

#40Well, I called mb today and was told to send a statement about the matter. They said there is some hope but it'll take time and the amount to retain is uncertain. Let's see what'll happen. I tried it over **** too since this smells like intentional fraud to me.Comment -

#42Did they tell that there is some hope after you had said to them the details of your case (i mean your deposits and withdrawals via MB e.t.c.)? And if yes could you tell us what is your case so as to have a clue about under which conditions one should have some chance with MB?Originally posted by romaineWell, I called mb today and was told to send a statement about the matter. #45Warning for players who use ASIAN books
I play high stakes POKER in the Philippines and met many scam books owners who stole money from players. Some of them are from the US, Indonesia and Korea. They are here in the Philippines to create another books and steal players money. How can I help to put these scambags to jail?
I always play poker with them everyweek.Comment -

#47Ricky is one of those people who doesn't take responsibility for his actions and blames everyone else. It's a lot easier to pretend you never saw Pointbet warnings and blame SBR for not doing enough.Originally posted by tacomaxOK then, Sherlock Holmes, what do you think that SBR can do about a sportsbook that has seemingly shut down and run off with the money?Comment -

#48the following is the response I received from moneybookers following my recent query indicated step by step by theonlinewire.com regarding pointbet. I had clearly explained them my situation with pointbet, about my pending withdrawal that was never processed, that they disappeared etc etc but they still managed to give me the following answer:
Dear MR. xxx,
Thank you for contacting us.
Please be kindly advised to contact the merchant from which you requested the withdrawal, and please ask them to provide you with the transaction id that corresponds to this payment from their Moneybookers account. The merchants also have accounts with us and they should be able to locate this transaction id on their Moneybookers account. As soon as we have this information, we will be able to further assist you.
Hope that this information will help. If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us through our messaging centre. We are always happy to help.
Best Regards,
but, i ask, do they understand english or not?Comment -

#49Sounds like the stories of them "stepping upto the plate" were just a PR exercise at a time when they were coming under pressure.
Now this has started to blow over and peoples focus is elsewhere this is exactly the sort of response from Moneybookers that I feared all along.Comment -

#50jackal and all past pointbet customers using moneybookers, it seems that myne was a FALSE alarm.
Following their last reply, a great guy from theonlinewire.com contacted them on my behalf and moneybookers forwarded me a further reply.
Here it is
Dear MR.xxx,
You have received an email from moneybookers 2 days ago concerning your report about pointbet. As it has not confirmed that we have successfully filed all the necessary details, we would like to apologize for the inaccuracy of our previous answer. Please be asured that Moneybookers has taken in considaretion your report. It will though take some time until we gather all data from all pointbet customers and evaluate the ways of refunding. We will therefore kindly ask you to have some patience until this process is completed. As soon as we take some actions we will inform you via email.
With best regards,
your moneybookers team
It appears now that they are really taking care of this matter, if not, they wouldn't have recontacted me again to correct their previous statement.Comment -
