computer question

I have a pc running on vista 64 bit
I have a program that does not run in vista 64 bit, it runs in xp 32 bit
I have home network
my laptop is part of the home network, my laptop runs on xp 32 bit, I can access the files on my laptop from my pc
how can I connect from my pc to my laptop and run that program in xp 32 bit environment(from my pc)?

I don't know if I can use remote desktop connection on my pc to connect to my laptop

Yes. Remote desktop would work, assuming the two computers are networked. It will still be "running" on your laptop, however. You'd just be controlling it from your PC.
