Strange phenomenon regarding money and clothes I've noticed
I have noticed people who are barreled in and living week to week generally have better clothing in terms of name brands than those who have made it

My theory is that those who didnt make it try to overcompensate and pretend they made it by presenting themselves better

    Thoughts?

They usually have Escalades in the driveway with a tarp as a roof.

Its true, my uncle only worked for about 11 years his entire life after getting out of the military at age 24. He worked as a electrical engineer and spent all his money on rel estate investments and commercial property. Bought a few franchises called subway for like 35,000 a pop. Now hes owns 5 homes and 3 commercial properties. makes 25 grand a month and hasn't worked a day in 22 years. I don't think hes bought a new shirt or a car in 22 years either. My friend who's a bank teller says the same thing, the people that look all beat up and shit, have over 100k+ in their accounts.

You don't make money spending money on things that impress people who find spending money impressive.

It's not how much money you have but how you spend it that matters.
